Ever since reading The Omnivore’s Dilemma I’ve been trying to eat local, in season food a lot more. The problem with that is I’ve never really known what was in season. That is why this chart is so amazing. I’ll probably be printing this out to look at before I grab food at Pike Place or order it on the amazingly cool Amazon Fresh.
One of the meals my Dad makes that everyone likes is Chicken Pesto Pasta. I’ve uploaded his recipe to my wiki because everyone should try it once in their life. It’s freakin delicious, and super easy to make (as long as you have a decent food processor). I made it for a group of friends tonight and everyone said they absolutely loved it.
It’s probably one of the best meals I make and I certainly have my Dad to thank for it.
